Temporary Service Coordinator YWCA

As a Temporary Service Coordinator, you will work directly with individuals experiencing homelessness, assessing their needs and delivering support aligned with the YWCA’s core values. This role requires collaboration with community partners and involvement in crisis management, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess individual client needs and provide tailored support

• Facilitate referrals to community services and resources

• Maintain effective communication with team members

• Conduct data collection and ensure confidentiality

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Social Services or akin field

• Experience advocating for women and marginalized groups

• Proven skills in crisis intervention and resolution

• Good understanding of the local shelter system

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
