Become a Mobile Case Manager with Good Shepherd, providing essential support services to individuals at risk of homelessness. This role emphasizes assessment, crisis intervention, and housing support in a community-focused environment.
You will work full-time, utilizing your social service background to provide mobile case management and diversion services. This position requires collaboration with shelter staff and various agencies to ensure the needs of service users are met effectively. You will engage with clients directly in emergency shelters and the community, alongside fostering strong interpersonal relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver mobile case management to prevent homelessness
• Conduct assessments for shelter eligibility
• Collaborate with agencies for coordinated services
• Attend community appointments with service users
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Social Service or related field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and harm reduction frameworks
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid G license and willingness to drive
