Temporary Service Coordinator

Position: Temporary Service Coordinator Role
Empower marginalized communities as a Temporary Service Coordinator at YWCA Hamilton. This impactful role supports diverse individuals experiencing homelessness while providing essential crisis intervention.

The position requires working 37.5 hours per week, engaging closely with clients through assessments and advocacy. Utilize your background in Social Work to guide women and gender-diverse individuals towards effective community resources. Ensure a trauma-informed and anti-racist approach in alignment with YWCA's core values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in achieving personal objectives

• Conduct comprehensive service assessments

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention support

Requirements:

• Education in Social Work or related field

• Experience assisting marginalized populations

• Proven ability in crisis de-escalation techniques
