As a House Assistant, you will work closely with residents and team members to support personal care and daily living requirements. Your involvement will include aiding in household management as well as participating in communal traditions and celebrations. This enriching position focuses on promoting well-being and a strong sense of community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care and skill-building support to residents
• Help celebrate community events and house traditions
• Maintain records and documentation as required
• Collaborate on household management tasks like cooking and cleaning
• Follow safety guidelines and community regulations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Competent in spoken and written English or French
• Police check including vulnerable sector screening required
• CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Minimum age of 18 years
Contribute to a supportive environment, enhancing the lives of others as a dedicated Community Support Assistant with L’Arche.
