The YWCA Hamilton team is looking for two dedicated advocates. You will play a pivotal role in providing life transition support within Transitional Living, performing assessments, and offering essential resources to clients in need. Your contributions will empower marginalized communities and foster resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients in developing plans for independent living
• Conduct assessments to identify client needs
• Maintain accurate record-keeping as per protocols
• Coordinate with community agencies for comprehensive support
• Offer group programming and goal-setting sessions
Requirements:
• Completion of 2-year college program in social services
• 1-3 years experience in crisis intervention
• Demonstrated understanding of barriers faced by women
• Ability to work rotating shifts as required
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
