In this pivotal role, you'll enhance the well-being of Indigenous families by delivering wholistic services that address mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health. Your expertise in substance abuse, mental health, and community engagement will guide your work with clients. This position emphasizes a trauma-informed and gender sensitive approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide holistic care for addiction issues
• Foster community connections through cultural practices
• Advocate for mental and emotional health resources
• Conduct evidence-based counselling sessions
• Adapt to provide services remotely and in-person
Requirements:
• Minimum 2-year social work diploma and 3 years’ experience
• Experience with Indigenous populations in crisis
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Current driver’s license and clear criminal record check
