Direct Support Facilitator at Community Living

Empower individuals with diverse abilities as a Direct Support Facilitator at Community Living Hamilton. Provide essential support through recreational and social activities in various programs.

As the region’s largest provider for those with developmental disabilities, CLH is seeking skilled facilitators.

This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients, supporting their engagement in community participation and learning experiences. You will be a key player in enhancing the lives of 1,600 individuals, from children to seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in social and recreational activities

• Facilitate learning experiences within community settings

• Encourage participation in various programs

• Promote independence among clients

• Foster relationships to support individual goals

Requirements:

• DSW, SSW, or related social sciences degree/diploma

• Minimum two years of experience with developmental disabilities

• Valid G class driver’s license

• Positive attitude toward diverse abilities

• Preferred:
Fluency in a second language
