Mentor for Adult Day Services

Be a mentor in the community at ESSC, focusing on empowering individuals with disabilities as a Life Skills Coach. This weekday role is vital for client growth and empowerment.

As a Life Skills Coach I at ESSC, you will play an essential role in the Adult Day Services program. Your mission involves advocating for individuals with disabilities, helping them acquire valuable social and daily living skills. Engage them through person-centered activities while providing necessary support and supervision, encouraging their active participation in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals in meetings and planning sessions

• Maintain documentation and evaluations regarding progress

• Assist in selecting activities based on individual preferences

• Collaborate with other staff to deliver effective support

• Utilize assistive technology for effective communication

Requirements:

• High School diploma necessary

• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred

• CPR and First Aid certifications required

• Computer proficiency in required applications

• Must lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
