Youth Services Case Manager Role

Join Good Shepherd as a Youth Services Case Manager, dedicated to uplifting and guiding youth aged 16-21 facing challenges. This position offers a chance to provide personalized counseling and essential life skills training.

Based at the Good Shepherd Notre Dame House, you will work closely with vulnerable youth, addressing their unique needs through crisis intervention and community support. The role emphasizes the development of personal goals, ensuring that each client receives the advocacy and education necessary for a brighter future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and plan interventions for each youth

• Deliver supportive counseling alongside education and advocacy

• Facilitate life skills training, including budgeting and cooking

• Manage cases and engage in community service development

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Background in social services with a focus on Child and Youth Worker

• Proven experience working with at-risk youth

• Required CPR certification or willingness to be certified

• Experience in anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices

• Additional languages, especially French, considered an asset
