The First Nations Representative will report to the Director of Family Wellness. A Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services field is required. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of alternative healing methods and First Nations Child and Family Services guidelines. Familiarity with local culture, traditions, and language will be beneficial in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer support for mental, emotional, spiritual health
• Maintain confidentiality across all case discussions
• Partner with the Director in program enhancement
• Apply holistic and natural support strategies
• Guide families in accessing wellness resources
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related discipline
• Knowledge of First Nations Child and Family Services regulations
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Provide three professional references and resume
• Submit current CPIC criminal records check
