In this critical role, you'll work closely with a dedicated team, ensuring a dignified, trauma-informed environment for residents at the Barton-Tiffany Shelter. You'll utilize your experience and crisis intervention skills to mentor staff while overseeing daily programming and resident care. Your leadership will be vital in fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages housing stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor team members and maintain service quality
• Guide daily operations and programming activities
• Support onboarding and training processes for new staff
• Oversee shift changes and case conferencing
• Engage with community services to assist residents
Requirements:
• At least three years of relevant experience
• Background in housing, mental health, or addiction support
• Degree or diploma in social service field
• Ability to work in a diverse shelter environment
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus
