The Social Worker will function as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing, but not limited to, support services to students, families, and Board personnel through consultation/assessment; crisis intervention; counselling; attendance investigation; community liaison/networking; prevention programming; professional development; child/family advocacy.

• Minimum B.S.W, M.S.W preferred
• Valid Ontario driver's license
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, written and computer skills
• Proven assessment and intervention skills
• Experience in providing school based social work services from an evidence informed practice perspective
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Maturity in dealing with confidential information
• Membership in good standing with The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
• Previous work in an education setting is beneficial
• Other duties as assigned.
