Child Care Subsidy Eligibility Specialist

Reporting to the Supervisor of Human Services Child Care Fee Subsidy, this role requires you to handle a sizable caseload, ensuring that clients qualify for the necessary subsidies. Your experience in health or social services will be crucial as you conduct interviews, process client data, and maintain communication with community agencies to offer effective support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain a diverse caseload of child care clients

• Determine eligibility for child care subsidies and community supports

• Conduct client interviews and develop case plans

• Write detailed case summaries and manage client records

• Train new staff and respond to community inquiries

Requirements:

• University degree or college diploma in Health or Social Sciences

• Experience in human or social support services

• Strong decision-making and organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Valid Class “G” Driver’s Licence required
