As a Case Worker at The Salvation Army’s Hamilton Booth Centre, you will provide essential services to those in need. Your key tasks will include assessing residents, developing a personalized case strategy, and facilitating vital community referrals.
Your role will also involve crisis management during meal times and recording daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a diverse caseload of clients effectively
• Perform thorough intake assessments for residents
• Assist with problem solving and counseling on resources
• Foster relationships with community services
• Document relevant incidents and client interactions
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Service or equivalent experience preferred
• Competent in word processing software
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to operate independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to undergo background screening
