As an Engineering Manager at Instacart, you will lead a team of over 8 engineers responsible for core systems impacting conversion and reliability s position requires balancing immediate deliverables with long-term architectural vision. Your technical and strategic leadership will shape how Instacart builds its order infrastructure in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering teams to support checkout architecture
• Act as a key point of contact for partner teams
• Identify opportunities for system modernization
• Manage technical strategy and team health
• Partner with other departments on system improvements
Requirements:
• 7+ years in software engineering roles
• At least 2 years in engineering management
• Background in e-commerce and order management systems
• Capability to operate in high-traffic production environments
• Proven leadership in scaling complex systems
