Enedym, a startup associated with McMaster University, invites a Co-op Embedded Software Developer to enhance our electric motor control systems. Ideal candidates will have experience in C and C++, working on real-time systems and collaborating with a diverse team. You will learn new technologies while taking ownership of firmware features and contributing to the development of innovative propulsion solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop firmware for motor control systems
• Work with new microcontrollers and development tools
• Build reusable code libraries for system features
• Lead development from idea to physical deployment
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers
Requirements:
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming
• Experience with 32-bit microcontrollers like ARM
• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C)
• Hands-on experience with debugging and lab equipment
• Eagerness to learn and tackle complex problems
