Harris WESCAM as an FPGA Software Tool Developer Co-op in Waterdown, Ontario. This role focuses on developing internal web applications that will streamline processes for the firmware team.
As a co-op student, you will help facilitate the development and enhancement of software tools that drive efficiency within the team. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist FPGA designers in tool development and maintenance
• Create effective verification suites for internal tools
• Enhance documentation associated with software tools
• Engage actively in team collaboration and innovation
• Attend training and educational sessions as required
Requirements:
• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering
• Proficient in Python and experienced with Flask
• Familiarity with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Understanding of relational database systems like PostgreSQL
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
