All personnel at I-Cubed and Southport are required to work hard, enjoy their work and be good at what they do. The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is a dedicated member of the Supply Chain Team who is responsible for shipping, receiving, and general labour duties with a high level of attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments verifying the correct items are recorded and received
  • Enter receiving in Quick Books
  • Prepare outgoing shipments including crating/packaging
  • Obtain quotes, arrange trucks and couriers for outgoing shipments
  • Work with project manager to arrange project delivery to customers
  • Create cross-border paperwork for international shipments
  • Work with Customs, provide documentation, clearances, etc.
  • Load and unload trucks, use of forklift, crane, rigging
  • Deliver project parts to job shelves and have the receiving slips signed by department
  • Inventory control: cycle counts, adjustments, off-stock, obsolete inventory
  • Pick inventory items to be shipped for parts/service orders arrange shipping or hold for customer pickup
  • Record all inventory items pulled from stock (Lean Lift)
  • Monitor/record inventory to ensure items are accurate, organized and easily accessible
  • Maintain work areas in neat and orderly manner
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • 5 years related experience
  • Knowledge of cross border shipping processes required
  • Knowledge of inventory control and materials management processes
  • Must have a clean driver record and valid driver’s license
  • Licensed forklift, crane and rigging operator preferred
  • Ability to perform physical labor (lifting to 20 kgs unassisted)
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, Quick Books is an asset
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to customer service, quality and on-time delivery
