Community Bus Driver Volunteer at CityKidz

City Kidz seeks enthusiastic volunteer Bus Drivers to contribute to our mission of providing children in Hamilton with safe transport to enriching experiences. Make a difference in young lives while developing your driving skills.

In this role, you will connect with kids and families, eliminating transportation barriers that prevent access to our programs. A commitment of at least two seasons is expected, as you'll be actively involved in driving kids to various events throughout the year. This volunteer position offers a rewarding way to engage with the community while developing teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a bus, observing all traffic rules

• Deliver youth to City Kidz events and activities

• Ensure the comfort and security of passengers

• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules

• Conduct essential inspections for bus readiness

Requirements:

• Must be at least 25 years old

• Valid C or B driver’s license required

• Clean driving record mandatory

• Experience driving in Hamilton preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
