POSITION SUMMARY
The Driver Helper is required to ride along with the licensed AZ driver and assist with grease bin pick-ups at locations in Ontario.
In this role, the Helper must be flexible to work different shifts and hours, must be able to work both dayshift and or afternoon shift as needed, 8-12 hours per day. This position is for a driver helper on Sani bulk or drum routes.
** These times are approximate and shall not, however, be construed as a guarantee of hours of work per day or per week or of days of work per week. Where the overtime occurs during the course of an employee's route, they are to complete the overtime.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Ride along with Driver and assist with the pick-up of grease bins and grease drums at customer locations.
Safely direct driver into correct position for bin pick-up, making sure to avoid all obstacles.
Troubleshoot problems to ensure customer is satisfied.
Assist with the completion of paperwork.
Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions to supervisors.
Promote and comply with Health and safety, GMP, HACCP regulations and Company policies and procedures.
Other duties assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Lengthy trips in AZ/DZ transport vehicle in shared space.
Temperature variation, Hot/cold.
Weather conditions when working outside.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the ability to lift, push and pull 50+ pounds.
Required to bend, twist, push/pull and lean.
Climbing into and out of transport truck.
Extended periods of sitting, standing and walking.

$21.91 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours worked.
