Group Fleet Mechanic

Position: Da-Lee Group Fleet Mechanic Role
Become a Fleet Mechanic at Da-Lee Group, focusing on our commercial truck and trailer servicing. This position leverages your mechanical abilities in a project-based environment.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage vehicle maintenance and repairs to uphold the high standards of our fleet. With a robust background in truck and trailer upkeep spanning over five years, your expertise in chassis, suspension, and hydraulic systems is critical. The role integrates teamwork with dispatch and suppliers to keep operations smooth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to vehicle maintenance schedules

• Track and document all vehicle maintenance activities

• Supervise repair bay activities and ensure safety

• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and parts

• Collaborate with external suppliers and manufacturers
Requirements:

• Hold a 310T Mechanic License

• Relevant post-secondary education preferred

• Valid Class G Ontario Driver's License necessary

• Experience in diesel engines and electrical maintenance

• Proficient in using personal hand tools
