Loader Operator Position

Join a dynamic team as a Loader Operator in Hamilton, ON, focusing on loading operations and safety practices. You'll operate mobile equipment and ensure a safe working environment daily.

We are seeking a dedicated loader operator with at least two years of experience in heavy machinery. In this full-time role, you will load haulage vehicles and storage areas, conduct safety checks, and report any incidents to enhance operational safety. You'll play a crucial part in creating an efficient work environment through regular attendance at safety meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment for loading and maintaining process areas

• Conduct safety inspections and report any issues

• Load storage bunkers with loose waste as required

• Enforce PPE and safety protocols at the site

• Attend daily operations meetings and share ideas for improvement

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Two years of hands-on experience with heavy equipment

• Mechanical skills for inspection purposes

• Must have a valid Driver’s License

• Resourceful and able to work both independently and collaboratively
