As part of Burnside's Municipal Transportation Planning team, you will play a crucial role in managing projects that prioritize traffic safety, roadway design, and intelligent systems. You'll collaborate with the Vice President and other professionals to develop effective transportation strategies and solutions for urban and rural environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and manage traffic engineering projects
• Conduct safety reviews for urban roadways
• Optimize traffic signals and interim management plans
• Engage with clients and stakeholders effectively
• Contribute to project proposals and presentations
Requirements:
• P.Eng. designation or eligibility in Ontario
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in traffic signal optimization
• Solid analytical and communication abilities
• Access to a vehicle with a valid driver’s license
