The Role
We are currently hiring a Forklift Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing/distribution facility in Smithville
. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a mid-sized, team-oriented environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving materials and pallets in and out of the facility. You’ll be working on a straight afternoon shift, Monday to Thursday.

This location is not accessible by public transit.

Operate a counterbalance forklift to move materials and pallets safely and efficientlyPerform indoor and outdoor yard work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, uneven terrain)Load and unload transport trucksKeep the yard organized, clean, and safeComplete daily forklift and equipment inspectionsFollow all health & safety policies and proceduresAssist with general warehouse duties as requiredWhat We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experienceProven experience operating forklifts both indoors and outdoors on gravel, uneven, icy, or wet surfacesStrong awareness of safety and operational best practicesAbility to lift up to 40 lbsReliable, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethicGood communication skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentSomeone looking for a long-term opportunity with growth potential#INDSTRIVEON
