Grocery Freight Delivery Driver

Meadow Lake Co-op is hiring a Full-time Grocery Freight Delivery Person at our Grocery Store

• Meet all Meadow Lake Co-op guidelines on hygiene, presentation and customer service;
• Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude;
• Ensure safe and timely delivery or goods to Urban and Rural locations;
• Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure functionality
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected weather conditions;
• Loading and unloading cargo efficiently, manually or using forklifts;
• Adhere to traffic laws and following established traffic and transportation procedures
• Be punctual, trustworthy, and responsible;
• Reporting any incidents or delivery issues to the dispatcher
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle;
• Other duties as assigned

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

• Class 5 Drivers license
• Strong work ethic and positive team player attitude
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Candidate must possess a valid drivers license
• Be able to provide a drivers abstract
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
