Truck Driver - Propane Cylinder Delivery

We are recruiting for a hard working and conscientious Propane Cylinder Delivery Driver to work with us  this vital role you will be responsible for the delivery of cylinder propane to our customers.

The ideal candidate for this role will be physically fit and a safe, professional DZ driver. The successful candidate will be assigned cylinder and bulk deliveries to customer locations, typically on a Monday to Friday schedule, but some weekend work will be required. The hours of work and start time can vary, depending on the number of deliveries scheduled each day.

Drivers typically leave the yard to begin deliveries at 6:00 a.m. each morning and return to the terminal once all cylinder and bulk deliveries are complete, taking anywhere from 6 hours per day in the off-season to 12 hours per day in the busy heating season.

• Carry out deliveries on a specified route
• Good physical condition
• Provide excellent customer service and exhibit professionalism
• Highly dependable with strong work ethic
• Vacation/absenteeism coverage for both cylinder and bulk drivers
• Potential for after hours and weekend on-call responsibility for bulk propane deliveries (rotating schedule)
• Working on the dock to fill and repair cylinders

• Completion of high school (OSSD)
• Clean driver’s and CVOR abstract
• DZ Driver’s License
• Fuel delivery and/or cylinder truck driving experience an asset

• Regular full-time employment status with competitive compensation, paid bi-weekly.
• The expected hourly wage for this position is $27.00 per hour.
