Join RONA as a Driver Helper to support efficient deliveries. Engage in merchandise handling and ensure outstanding customer interactions while meeting safety guidelines.
In the role of Driver Helper at RONA, you will work closely with delivery drivers to facilitate timely and safe deliveries to residential and commercial sites. Your effective communication and customer service skills will help ensure that the delivery process goes smoothly. You'll be part of a team committed to quality service while managing tasks like inspecting loads and truck maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle and transport merchandise from truck to site
• Conduct load inspections and assist with logistics paperwork
• Ensure excellent customer service by contacting clients pre-delivery
• Contribute to order preparation and truck upkeep
• Abide by safety and loss prevention measures
Requirements:
• Secondary 5 diploma and Full G license are assets
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg and work outdoors
• Familiarity with carry-in delivery of construction materials
• Strong support capabilities in a moving vehicle
