Become a vital part of the team as a Part Time Donation Driver at the National Diabetes Trust. Benefit from a $2000 signing bonus and a competitive hourly wage of $19.25.
As a Donation Pickup Driver, you will work up to 29 hours per week, collecting donations from residents and bins to help fund Diabetes Canada's charitable work. You will be responsible for ensuring all pickup procedures are followed and maintaining a safe driving environment during each route. This role is a great way to engage with your community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect donations from designated routes efficiently
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and paperwork
• Carry out effective communication with dispatch
• Maintain donor relations and provide service cards
• Log pickups accurately for each shift
Requirements:
• Valid Full Class 5 or G driver’s license
• Minimum 5 years driving without violations
• Ability to manage up to 50 lbs of load
• Organized, with great route mapping skills
• Strong customer service and public relations abilities
