Primary Responsibilities

Replenishment of point‑of‑use inventory using kanban methodology

Provide customer service at the stores wicket and complete inventory transactions

Run daily reports, create manufacturing orders and produce order picking

Support the service team by fulfilling material requests and replenishing service‑dedicated inventory

Monitor and facilitate workflow and communication between production cells and other relevant departments

Support inventory cycle counts

Handle material and optimize inventory storage

Conduct stock/process audits and investigate variances

Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy

Required Skills and Knowledge

Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts

Demonstrated knowledge of MRP

Experience with a perpetual computerized inventory management system

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills

Strong analytical, problem‑solving and investigative ability

Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels

Physical ability to stand prolonged periods, occasionally climb small ladders, and lift up to 15 kg

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Knowledge of controlled‑goods management for ITAR‑controlled materials is an asset

Commitment to continuous improvement and change

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or
2 years post‑secondary / associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of related experience

Pay Range
In Ontario, Canada, the pay range for this position is $24/hr – $32/hr
