Senior Manager, Assurance

Our client, a mid size accounting firm located in Hamilton, is looking for a Senior Manager, Assurance tojoin their team. If you are passionate about accounting, assurance, corporate and personal tax prep, then please read further.

The successful candidate will have to be in office 3 days a week outside of tax season. Within tax season, the successful candidate will be required to be in office 4 days a week

The key accountabilities and responsibilities include the following;

• Planning and executing client audits including scheduling, planning andfileprep
• Working closely with clients and preparation ofaudit findings letters and related correspondence
• Reviewing personal income tax returns of a more complex matter
• Preparing financial statements and working paper files in accordance with firm standards effectively and efficiently

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• CPAdesignation with seven years experience in a public accounting firm
• Advanced skills in Caseware/Caseview, Excel, Word and Tax Prep
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
