Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Billing & Contract Administrator for our client based in South Lanarkshire.
Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Order to Cash team on a 6-month fixed term contract.
The Billing & Contract Administrator will support a range of billing and contract administration activities, ensuring processes are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with required standards.
The role will involve managing billing activity, maintaining customer and master data, supporting month-end processes and working closely with internal teams including Finance, Customer Service, Sales and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage key billing processes, including PO management, consolidated invoicing and portal uploads.
- Support the end-to-end e-billing process.
- Maintain accurate customer and master account information.
- Monitor billing transactions and controls to ensure a high level of accuracy.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide a high standard of service.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support month-end activities and operational accounting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Customer Service, Sales and Operations teams.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within billing, finance administration, contracts or a similar role.
- Strong administration, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with strong customer service skills.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience of billing systems or SAP would be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
Offering
- Salary: £27,000 per annum
- 6-month fixed term contract
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Working hours available:
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
- 8:30am – 4:30pm
- 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Hybrid working: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote
- 31 days holiday including bank holidays
