An exciting opportunity has arisen to join, or further develop your career, within the innovative South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Performance and Support Service Team, working to support the Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) Service.

Location:

Council Headquarters, Hamilton

Hours:

35hrs per week, permanent

Work Pattern:
Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm

Salary / Hourly Rate: £28,012 - £28,358

You would be part of a successful well-established team who liaise with internal colleagues and external agencies to arrange and provide a range of specialist and general clerical tasks including a specialist minute taking service to support MAPPA. Daily use of the ViSOR information system which includes updating and retrieving information, updating and maintaining electronic recording and filing systems.

At present, meetings are, in the majority held via Microsoft Teams, however, the successful applicant would be required to be flexible and able to travel to various locations across the Resource including Clydesdale, Cambuslang, East Kilbride and Hamilton to provide support and undertake minutes of meetings.

This post involves access to the Violent and Sex Offender Register (ViSOR) information system and MAPPA folders and the successful candidate will be subject to Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) at a minimum of level 3 and data secutiry checks.

Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to a formal offer of employment.

Overseas Criminal Records Check

An Overseas Criminal Records Check is required where applicants born outside the UK (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or who have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of 12 months in the past 10 years. Applicants are responsible for providing evidence of the Overseas Criminal Record Check. The check must be translated into English and should come from the police, judicial authority, government department or home embassy of the country or countries concerned.

The check must include an official statement confirming that the applicant does not have any history of or pending criminal record proceedings. Checks may be carried out to authenticate the documents provided.
