Job overview – We are recruiting a Primary Pool Janitor to join our Facilities team in Hamilton and Blantyre. This is a temporary role until 31 March 2026.

:
Primary Schools within the Hamilton and Blantyre area.
Hours
: 22.5 hours per week.
Work pattern
:
Monday – Wednesday 7.30am – 4pm.
Hourly rate
: £14.02 – £14.33 per hour.
Key responsibilities
:
- Communicate with the Facilities Manager, Head of Establishment/Lessee’s and Team members to ensure customer needs are met daily.
- Log, monitor and report all damage/faults in relation to fabric and fixtures.
- Maintain liaison with external contractors ensuring Health & Safety and security procedures are followed.
- Monitor activities of lessee’s and contractors, reporting any issues to line manager.
- Ensure unit grounds are safe, tidy, free from dangerous articles to protect staff and visitors.
- Monitor cleaning standards in line with specifications/COSHH regulations and report any difficulties.
