Salary: £36,000 - £45,000 DOE + benefits package

Your new company & role: An established main contractor who, due to a period of sustained growth, have a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. This could be a qualified Quantity Surveyor with a few years post-graduate experience, or an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor keen to progress.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding business who can offer real career progression opportunities and have a demonstrable track record of promoting from within.

• Assisting on Sub-Contract agreements maximise profit
• Attending, contributing to, and minuting Internal Team Meetings
• Keeping master files of correspondence on contract
• Preparing Interim Valuations with Senior Surveyor and agreeing amounts for payment.
• Informing Sub-Contractors of Contract variations
• Valuing variations
• Pricing
• Reporting to Senior Surveyor on job performance via cost/value comparisons
• Preparing Surveying Reports

• BSc Quantity Surveying
• Relevant industry experience
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills
• A methodical approach
• Excellent numeracy skills
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in relevant computer programmes (Microsoft Word, Excel etc.)
