Academics are seeking a Behaviour Support Lead to drive positive behaviour strategies across an SEN school.
Key Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Lead:- Lead the school’s behaviour management and pastoral strategy.
- Develop and implement systems to support pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs.
- Mentor and coach behaviour staff, including SEN TAs and Behaviour Mentors.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, teachers, parents, and external agencies.
- Monitor behaviour data, attendance, and outcomes to inform strategy.
- Proven experience in behaviour management leadership or senior pastoral roles.
- Strong understanding of SEMH, SEN, and inclusion principles.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Confident, calm, and solution-focused under pressure.
