Full-Time Teacher - Temporary to August 2026 in the first instance - Main Pay Scale To commence Summer Term 2026 (Subject to relevant checks and references) Gellifaelog is a happy, caring school that wants every child to excel! The Governing body are seeking to appoint an excellent, caring, creative and enthusiastic teacher, who understands the need for effective relationships and effective pedagogy, making a difference to the present and future lives of our children, families and community.
The successful candidates will:
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner who inspires and encourages children to reach their full potential through high quality learning experiences.
- Have high expectations of achievement and a commitment to excellent progress for every child.
- Be passionate about education and have the commitment and drive to lead a curriculum area which enables all children to succeed in their learning.
- Demonstrate excellent application of effective pedagogy, and an excellent knowledge of the most recent changes to the expectations of the curriculum in Wales.
- Be keen to work to the strengths of every child, support any needs, and provide an inclusive learning environment.
- Understand that equity is the key to giving every child the best chances in their lives.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to work effectively in partnership with staff, parents, governors and the local community.
- Have a passion for developing pupils as bilingual and open to the cultures and languages of other countries Be expected to lead within an Area of Learning Experience.
- Be able to contribute to the school's extra-curricular activities.
