Overview
MERJE are working with a Life Insurer who are looking to add a Part Qualified Actuary to their Actuarial function - mainly focusing on Capital and Valuation work.
You'll be supporting the senior Actuaries in carrying out Valuations responsibilities amongst other Capital and Reporting related tasks. Due to being in a smaller insurance company, you will likely gain broader exposure whilst complementing this with your exam progress.
Responsibilities- Support the senior Actuaries in Valuation responsibilities and other Capital and Reporting related tasks.
- Part Qualified Actuary; roughly halfway through exams, with flexibility on timing to fit budget and demonstrated the right behaviours.
- Foundational experience in Life Insurance, either as part of a rotation programme or working in a relevant Capital/Reporting/Valuations function.
- Consideration may be given to candidates from Pensions or General Insurance (GI).
- Visa sponsorship cannot be provided. All applicants must have ILR or permanent right to work in the UK if they are non-UK citizens.
- Full study support provided.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
