Financial Controller, Market Leading Business, Dublin, c €70,000 + €10k Car Allowance
This is a pivotal leadership role, taking full ownership of the financial health and strategic financial direction of the company. You’ll lead on financial planning, compliance, risk management, and reporting, whilst supporting wider business growth. You’ll also act as a senior ambassador, promoting the organisation’s reputation as a respected and forward-thinking employer.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the MD, CFO, and senior leadership team to drive financial strategy and performance.
- Lead the finance function, overseeing all financial operations, reporting, and compliance across the UK & Ireland.
- Support corporate strategy with financial insights and challenge assumptions where necessary.
- Deliver robust, compliant systems to support current operations and future growth.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, cash management, and forecasting.
- Present monthly and annual financial reports to the Board and liaise with external auditors.
- Manage corporate finance activities including debt, equity, tax planning, acquisitions, and disposals.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, nurturing talent and capability.
- Ensure full regulatory and statutory compliance across all financial matters.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners including clients, suppliers, and financial institutions.
- Manage payroll, pensions, insurance, and benefits, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Advanced Excel and strong working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial regulations and standards.
Experience
- Proven track record in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a multi-entity or fast-growing business.
- Experience managing finance teams and leading change/improvement projects.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on.
- Confident working at Board level and influencing senior stakeholders.

Salary Overview: €70000 - €72000 per annum + Car Allowance GBP / Year
