The role

We are in search of an enthusiastic, motivated prescriber, with a passion for digital health, to join our growing team. The successful candidate must be qualified as an Independent Prescriber in the UK to help us provide high‑quality remote consultation services.

You will work alongside some of the biggest experts in the digital health space, as well as having exposure to growth, product, and marketing teams. You will be working within a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, together with our customer care team, to deliver exceptional patient care.

Our core operational team consists of nonmedical prescribers and doctors who ensure patient safety is at the heart of everything we do. You will contribute to multidisciplinary case‑based discussions and treat patients according to national and company guidelines. We are an open‑minded team, always seeking new avenues and ideas to provide the best comprehensive healthcare package to our patients. You will benefit from a commitment to your personal and professional development working in a team that is led by clinicians, technologists, and entrepreneurs.

This is a full‑time 40 hours/week position, and you must be available to work between Monday to Sunday, 7am to 11pm.

You’ll be:
  • Diagnosing, making treatment decisions and prescribing when clinically appropriate, according to our formulary and SOPs.
  • Demonstrating expert knowledge in general health encompassing men’s health conditions, diagnostics and weight loss in accordance to our prescribing areas.
  • Providing an appropriate and proactive medicines information and education service to all patients, prescribers and other clinical staff.
  • Partaking in regular team meetings where you have an opportunity to voice and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
  • Following our standard operating procedures to deliver the best patient care.
  • Incorporating principles of excellent customer care into your medicines information practices.
  • Using live chat to communicate/engage/motivate patients on certain treatment plans.
  • Reviewing and reporting on diagnostics such as blood test results.
  • Maintaining patient records with detail, accuracy and efficiency.
  • Reporting incidents when they arise and partaking in incident investigations as required, working closely with the clinical governance manager.
  • Proactively identifying and voicing concerns regarding clinical risks in line with provision of high‑quality clinical care.
  • Ensuring a flexible approach and being able to prioritise work tasks effectively.
  • Providing exceptional clinical care and advice in accordance with national guideline and in‑house evidence‑based guidance.
  • Taking part in ongoing clinical quality improvement.
  • Engaging with any new conditions or treatments that Numan offers in order to provide a wider range of services.
  • Willing to learn and up‑skill to provide a wider range of services.
We’re looking for someone who has:
  • Qualified nonmedical prescriber registered with the GPhC, GMC or NMC, and experience in independent prescribing essential.
  • Extensive experience working in a clinical patient‑facing setting such as primary care, secondary care or digital health.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with perfect grammar and spelling.
  • A proven track‑record of providing a good customer experience to patients.
  • The ability to deliver exceptional clinical care via a consultation where necessary.
  • The ability to work within a team, but also to work autonomously in providing healthcare…
