Job DescriptionWe are committed to developing top hospitality talent into professionals, leaders and executives of the future. Our Leadership and Culinary Development Programs are a minimum 18‑month program designed to provide cross‑exposure experiences and mentorship, preparing participants for leadership roles within our hotel.
The Leadership and Culinary Development Programs combine a series of rotations where you will have specific milestones to mark progress as you advance your knowledge as a Food & Beverage Management Trainee, Rooms Management Trainee, or Culinary Development Trainee. This prepares you for a future role that maximizes your strengths, ambitions, and aspirations.
This program is exclusive to Bermudians, PRC, or Spouses of Bermudians.
Food & Beverage Management TraineeAs the Food & Beverage Trainee, under the direction of the Food & Beverage Director and various restaurant leaders, you will oversee multiple outlets on rotation:
Crown & Anchor, In‑Room Dining, 1609, The Beach Club, Intrepid, Duchess, and Banquets.
Responsibilities include:
- Understanding F&B Operating Standards
- Hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and performance reviews
- Health & safety regulations and handling customer complaints
- Menu design, marketing events, and building relationships with vendors
- Purchasing, inventory, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, month‑end financials
- Participating in monthly communication meetings
Upon successful graduation, a full‑time position as a Food & Beverage supervisor/leader will be offered.
Qualifications- Program Eligibility:
Bermudians, PRC, or Spouse of a Bermudian - Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management or a Degree in Business/Tourism is preferred
- Minimum 12 months practical work experience in the hospitality industry
- Willingness and ability to work in a team, excellent communication skills, and ability to exceed customer service expectations
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
