With continued growth and investment we are now seeking an ambitious Operations Manager with proven experience in the packaging sector to join our team.
The RoleWe are looking for a hands on Operations Manager with proven experience in box manufacturing and packaging production. You will be responsible for managing day to day operations at our Blantyre facility liaising with the management team.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate all production activities within the printing and box manufacturing departments
- Manage, motivate, and develop production teams to meet output and quality targets
- Drive process improvements, workflow efficiency
- Ensure all jobs are produced to specification and delivered on schedule
- Collaborate with planning, and technical teams to support customer requirements
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to company policies and compliance standards
- Monitor KPIs, production data, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Strong operational management experience within packaging, box production, or print-related manufacturing
- Excellent leadership and team-management skills
- Solid understanding of production planning, workflow optimisation, and quality control
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
