OA are recruiting for a Production Team Leader to join our client's highly successful and growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Location: Bassingbourn, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-5pm. Friday 7am-10am On Site

Salary: £27,000- £32,000

• Complete scheduled work
• Ensure that your team are set up to complete the scheduled work on time and in full
• Make sure that all work produced is to the desired quality and that QC checks are completed and documented
• Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring team members follow regulations and procedures
• Report any unsafe condition that you cannot resolve
• Ensure team members are wearing the correct PPE

• An eye for detail
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings & understand instructions
• Be dexterous & physically fit - role requires some heavy lifting
• Work under pressure if required to make deadlines for orders
• Happy working in a team environment
• Possess good interpersonal skills
• Ability to train and coach temporary staff
• Previous working as a Team Leader
• Willing to learn and be flexible
• Demonstrate ability to remain calm and professional whilst working in a pressured environment
• Have excellent time keeping, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Be organised and methodical
• Lean and Float process knowledge
