Shifts

• Friendly and supportive working environment Day-to-Day Duties As a Joiner , your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Manufacturing moulds and stair stringers in line with issued technical drawings
• Reading and accurately interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Measuring, marking, cutting, assembling, and finishing timber components to a high standard
• Learning how to safely operate CNC machinery and assisting with CNC production when required
• Inspecting completed products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications
• Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely and effectively
• Supporting other production and manufacturing areas when required
• Working additional hours to meet production deadlines when necessary
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Following all company health and safety procedures at all times Essential Skills To be successful as a Joiner , you will need:
• To be a qualified or time-served Joiner
• Previous joinery or carpentry experience
• The ability to read, understand, and accurately work from technical drawings
• Good measuring, cutting, assembly, and finishing skills
• Experience using a variety of hand and power tools
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• A flexible attitude and willingness to support different production areas
• A willingness to learn and develop CNC machining skills
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience manufacturing moulds, stair stringers, or bespoke timber products
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, workshop, or factory environment
• Previous CNC machine operating experience would be advantageous but is not essential Training Provided
