Trade Counter Assistant

We are seeking a full‑time Trade Counter Assistant to join our team in Hamilton. In this on‑site role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with product inquiries, process orders, and support the day‑to‑day operations of the trade counter.

• Managing stock
• Maintaining a well‑organized work area
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and professional service
• Assisting customers in selecting tools, materials, and products to meet their specific needs

• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities are essential for successful customer interactions and collaboration with team members.
• Proven experience in customer service and a solid understanding of trading practices are required to assist clients effectively.
• Familiarity with power tools and construction materials is preferred to provide knowledgeable support and advice to customers.
• Problem‑solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling customer inquiries and stock management.
• Experience in retail or trade counter operations is an advantage.
