Customer Development Manager - North Scotland
Function: On-Trade
Location: Field-based – can be based anywhere, but the successful candidate will be expected to spend 3 days per month minimum in trade face to face with customers in the North of Scotland.
Salary: £35,000 - £43,000 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below.
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract

About the roleAs one of HEINEKEN’s CDM's, you’ll be responsible for growing HEINEKEN’s presence across a variety of outlets – from community locals to trendsetting bars you’ll work closely with customers to boost brand visibility and commercial performance.
You’ll develop strategic plans that drive mutual value, ensure our products are in the right places at the right times, and help customers bring our brands to life. You’ll also align with major marketing activations; from Champions League and Rugby Champions Cup to UEFA Women’s Euros and Formula 1.
Key Accountabilities- Deliver on Volume, Revenue, Profit and Market Share targets.
- Negotiating and executing Commercial Agreements
- Offering insight-driven category and ranging advice
- Understanding customer P&Ls and supporting business growth
- Strengthening HEINEKEN’s presence in the North of Scotland region
We’re looking for someone with commercial drive, strong relationship-building skills, and the curiosity to learn and grow.
You don’t need to come from an identical role; if you’ve built experience in sales, account management, or business development in any industry, you could be a great fit.
Desired Skills & Experience- Frontline sales or commercial experience
- Comfortable with numbers, pricing, and P&Ls
- Know how to build lasting customer relationships
- Bring energy, empathy, and a collaborative spirit
- Open to change and thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Hold a full UK driving licence
