DescriptionHousing & Technical Resources is seeking a Property Adviser to support the effective management and maintenance of property information and records relating to the Council’s land and property asset portfolio. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement, development, efficiency, and overall effectiveness of the service by supporting streamlined workflows and fostering productive working relationships with clients, customers, colleagues, and Line Managers.
A strong commitment to delivering high standards of customer service is essential, together with demonstrable experience of working to performance targets and meeting established deadlines. Applicants should possess strong IT skills, with the ability to produce accurate reports, analyse performance data, and support informed decision‑making through effective use of management information.
LocationCouncil Headquarters, Hamilton
Hours and Work Pattern35 hours per week, Permanent.
Monday - Thursday: 8.45am – 4.45pm;
Friday: 8.45am – 4.15pm.
£40,804 – £41,698 per year.
Legal and Registration RequirementsThis post is excepted in terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Scotland Act 2020.
An Overseas Criminal Records Check is required where applicants are born outside the UK or have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of three months in the past ten years. Applicants must provide evidence of a translated, official check confirming they have no history of or pending criminal record proceedings.
