Director of Community Relations – Avalon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center
Avalon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Director of Community Relations for a full-time opportunity. Monday-Friday • $80,000-$90,000 per year

- Build strong relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and referral sources to drive admissions and maintain census goals.
- Represent the center at targeted community events, fairs, and meetings, while planning and facilitating at least two monthly outreach programs.
- Develop and execute monthly business and outreach plans using referral and admission trend analysis to guide weekly strategies.
- Lead support groups, coordinate advertising opportunities, and oversee social media content showcasing services, testimonials, and community engagement.
- Work closely with the Admissions Director to support smooth resident transitions and maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients and families.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while participating in community networking, evening/weekend events, and other duties as assigned.
- College degree preferred, with experience in sales—especially healthcare, long-term care, or pharmaceuticals—strongly desirable.
- A solid understanding of healthcare services and the long-term care environment is useful.
- Consistently follows all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including Drug-Free Workplace standards.
- Demonstrates professional conduct, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to resident dignity, safety, and customer service.
- Maintains reliable attendance, appropriate grooming, and adherence to safety practices and equal opportunity standards.
- Must have LTC experience.
