Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) – Right at Home of Central New Jersey

• Valid New Jersey Home Health Aide license (must be held).
• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience as a caregiver or CHHA in a home or facility setting.
• Full COVID‑vaccinated status with booster.
• Completed 2‑step PPD within the last 12 months.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license and insured automobile.

• Provide care to patients under the direction of doctors and nurses, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration.
• Assist with daily functions such as dressing, bathing, and toileting.
• Help plan and coordinate doctor’s appointments and arrange transportation.
• Perform light housekeeping (dusting, mopping, laundry), meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Maintain accurate documentation and report patient status changes to nursing staff.
• Offer patient‑centered support and teach self‑care skills as appropriate.

• Full‑time, part‑time, or per‑diem pay: $17‑$20 per hour, depending on experience and case.
• Weekend overtime pay.
