Overview
We are a distinguished independent financial services firm offering comprehensive global family office, wealth management, asset management, and strategic advisory services. As a Project Manager within Corporate Finance and Advisor Performance and Compensation, you will be instrumental in leading strategic initiatives, overseeing cross-functional projects, and ensuring smooth execution across technology, operations, and business units. This position requires a proactive leader with exceptional organizational capabilities, a collaborative approach, and extensive knowledge of financial services operations.
Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end program and project management for initiatives related to revenue and fee strategies, corporate finance, and advisor compensation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Partner collaboratively with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to define project scope, establish clear objectives, and determine key success metrics.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and charters; proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee enhancements to financial reporting, compensation frameworks, and revenue and fee processes to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, monitor project milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to maintain project momentum.
- Supervise parallel testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) environments; ensure readiness for technology deployments and go-live activities.
- Maintain thorough project documentation and deliver regular program status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Lead workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and status updates with senior stakeholders and business partners to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Analyze financial and operational data to inform decision-making and identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance performance.
- Champion effective change management, communication, documentation, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive on-time project delivery with a disciplined approach to execution and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Prepare executive-level reports and updates for leadership teams and steering committees, ensuring clear communication of program progress and outcomes.
- Minimum of five years of project management experience in financial services, ideally within asset management or operations.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects to fruition.
- Comprehensive understanding of investment operations, compliance procedures, and financial data systems.
- Proficiency with platforms such as Dev Ops, SEI, Bloomberg, Perform, Fundapps, and related tools.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
- Knowledge of AI-driven tools and data integration methodologies is advantageous.
- Experience overseeing UI development, testing, and implementation.
- Strong capabilities for both independent and collaborative work in evolving environments.
- Exhibits critical thinking and a broad enterprise perspective.
- 7+ years of experience in Program or Project Management, ideally within Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge of revenue and fee structures, corporate finance processes, financial reporting, and advisor/wealth management compensation models.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, cross-functional programs with competing priorities.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile or Waterfall).
- Ability to synthesize complex financial/operational information and translate it into actionable plans.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of five years of progressive project management experience in financial services, with a strong preference for expertise within asset management or operations.
- Robust understanding of revenue and fee structures, corporate finance workflows, financial reporting, and advisor/wealth management compensation models.
- Knowledge of industry platforms including Dev Ops, D365 GL, Alteryx, Jaccomo, Visio.
- Familiarity with AI-driven solutions and data integration methodologies is highly advantageous.
- Ability to excel independently and as part of a collaborative team within dynamic and evolving environments.
- Strong critical thinking skills and an enterprise-wide perspective for strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive presentation skills, with a talent for influencing and collaborating across all organizational levels.
