Domino's Pizza is looking for qualified drivers to staff stores in your area. We offer a flexible schedule with hours that fit your needs, allowing time for school, social activities, or a second job. You will be a key member of our team, ensuring timely and friendly delivery of our pizza and other products.
Job DescriptionAs a Delivery Driver you will deliver pizza, flyers, and door hangers to customers, navigate challenging terrain, and provide excellent customer service. You will also assist with store duties such as inventory, cleaning, and order processing.
Job Requirements and Duties- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
- Have access to an insured vehicle that is available for delivery use.
- Possess navigation skills to read maps, locate addresses, and traverse multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain.
- Be physically fit to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds and perform short‑distance walking, stair climbing, and standing for most of the shift.
Many team members begin as delivery drivers and advance to management, general manager, franchise ownership, or corporate positions. Opportunities for growth are plentiful.

Qualifications- Operate all equipment used in the store.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, walk‑in cooler, and work area.
- Prepare product according to store standards.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Receive orientation and on‑the‑job training.
- Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills when interacting with customers and co‑workers.
- Perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and making correct monetary change).
- Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
- Coordinate motor skills for rapid, accurate, and precise movements.
- Manipulate pizza dough, use a pizza peel, rolling cutter, and assemble boxes with frequent and forceful hand and wrist action.
- Operate safe driving practices and navigate adverse terrains while carrying product.
- Accurate arithmetic and change handling.
- Verbal, written, and telephone ordering skills.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements.
- Keyboard or touch screen operation.
- Reading and correctly following written instructions.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Clear verbal communication with customers and co‑workers.
Exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations between 36°F and 90°F or higher, fumes from food, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters. Operations may involve hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing stairs, carrying loads up to 50 pounds, and frequent hand, arm, and wrist movements.
Driving SpecificJob Duties
- Deliver product by car to customers’ doors.
- Distribute flyers and door hangers.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
- Ability to drive safely and reliably, continue multiple deliveries per shift.
- Walking and climbing between the store, vehicle, and delivery locations.
- Driving requires safe navigation of five or more flights of stairs in certain delivery scenarios.
- Carrying pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
- Driving within a designated delivery area, often with multiple deliveries per shift.
- Walking between the store, vehicle, and each customer location.
- Climbing stairs during deliveries.
Base pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour for the indicated position in New Brunswick, NJ (as of 3 weeks ago). Additional incentives may apply.
